The Lore Checklist
(Do these at your own peril)
- Host a dinner party with a super fancy dress code
- Keep a framed photo of someone who isn’t a relative and say “they saved my life once.”
- Tell people you almost got cast in a Netflix show.
- Spend 48 hours in a city you’ve never been to without using your phone GPS.
- Put a skull or ancient artifact on your bookshelf.
- Read at least one really old book by Dostoevsky, Homer, Wodehouse, Tolstoy, or Plato
- Do a silent retreat in the mountains and come back different.
- Attend a high-level summit in a niche topic like and just learn + vibe.
- Go to a retreat in central america
- Try to find God
- Start casually referring to “my time in the archives.”
- Try and find a lost treasure
- Fall in love with a stranger in another country. Maybe let them break your heart
- Ride a train somewhere far away
- Book an Airbnb in the middle of nowhere and start writing your memoir
- Create a fake name + identity and attend a networking event in a city where no one knows you. Stay in character the whole night.

- Go 72 hours without any screen time
- Create a spotify playlist for your deathbed
- Sneak into a hotel pool at night with your best friend, just to swim under the stars and drink canned rosé.
- Fall in love with a bartender for exactly one weekend. Never get their number.
- Write a message in a bottle and get a response.
- Wake up at 5am for a week to film sunrises and train like you’re in a Nike commercial.
- Get insanely good at something random (yo-yo, chess, Rubik’s cube, lock-picking).
- Buy a camera and document one weekend with your best friends like it’s the last one ever. Edit it like a film trailer.
- Write a letter to your future spouse
